SOLID PVS VENT PLUGS USED FOR PREVENTING VENTILATION Sold in packs of 5
Performance Vent Systems or PVS Ports are holes set into the hubs of many high performance props.
These port holes can be closed or left open to control the amount of ventilation occurring while underway.
Boaters would do this for many reasons:
- Closing the vents completely will minimize ventilation and give help provide better holeshot
- Opening the vents will cause additional ventilation which can help motors achieve higher RPMs with the same Pitch propeller (AKA Greater Speed)
